Mr. Big Shot

Chauncy earned the name Mr. Big Shot well before he arrived in New York or Denver. If any of us thought he was not capable of delivering another big shot while playing for our New York Knicks, we were mistaken.

I went from “Nooo…” because I thought it was a bad shot, to “YESSSS!” as the 3 pointer from 35 feet went through the net without touching the rim. Wow! I think Mr. Billups is going to become a very popular Knick in our city.

What a great win. Biggest and most impressive win of the season. Not only the win but the fashion in which they won.

Being down early, on the verge of getting blown out. Coming back to take a 1 point lead at the half in dramatic fashion. Scratching and clawing their way through a VERY IMPRESSIVE second half to steal a win in the final 2 minutes.

I’ve been as critical of Michael D’Antoni as anyone when it comes to defense and preparation for this team. Last night they defended and were prepared. Major props to Mr. Pringles. If the team plays with this type of effort every night, you will not hear jack squat from me regarding the Coach and potential replacements. All I want is effort, it’s that simple.

ESPN Highlights are in constant rotation for me all day today.
