Merry Knickmas

STAT giving out headlocks for Christmas

The Knicks were not in a giving mood yesterday despite it being Christmas Day.

They beat the Chicago Bulls yesterday by playing defense. Are we sure this was Mike D’Antoni coaching yesterday and not the ghost of Van Gundy past?

They were clearly not in the giving mood as they held the Bulls to only 12 points in the 4th quarter and blocking 10 shots to secure a very impressive win.

The Knicks and Bulls were exchange gifts in the form of turn overs yesterday. 24 for the Knicks and 21 for Chicago. Yikes.

The Knicks all chipped in with one of the most balanced attacks of the year thus far. All of our starters were in double figure scoring.

Chicago was very Bullish on the offensive glass where they had 17 offensive rebounds to our measly 6. Carlos Boozer was the main culprit as he had 26 pts and 19 rebs.

Derek Rose was typical Derek Rose. Slashing, dashing, and prancing to the rim at will. Notching a typical 25 pts and 8 assists.

That is  2 very solid wins in a row. The road only gets tougher against Miami and Orlando next week. Let’s see if the Knicks have any extra gifts to give out next week.
