Hold The Mayo

The latest Knick development circulating around the internet is the deal that could potentially land Memphis Grizzlies swingman O.J. Mayo.

I’m not sure how to feel about this potential deal that probably will not happen. I always liked OJ coming out of high school and college. He had a great rookie year but he has tapered off since his first year. He can score points in bunches but I am not sure what else he brings besides that. The reason for my hesitation on this particular move is based on the idea of chemistry.  We are clicking right now as a unit and hate to become the team that made one trade too many.

I also question what we may have to give up to get him. If we are simply trading spare parts that we are not using, I would surely give it a go.  If it requires us to trade one of the players in our rotation, I would do just what the title of the post suggests.
